Responsibilities
- Design and backtest day-ahead and intraday trading strategies across EPEX, OPCOM and other European exchanges
- Improve price and production forecasting models used to drive automated trading decisions
- Analyse market microstructure and balancing mechanisms to identify new sources of value
- Work directly with the engineering team to ship models into the live trading engine
What we're looking for
- Degree in a quantitative field (maths, physics, engineering, economics or similar)
- 2+ years working with time-series data, forecasting or quantitative trading
- Strong Python skills; comfortable working with large datasets
- Understanding of European electricity markets is a strong plus
Nice to have
- · Experience with day-ahead or intraday power trading
- · Familiarity with weather or production forecasting
