Responsibilities

  • Design and backtest day-ahead and intraday trading strategies across EPEX, OPCOM and other European exchanges
  • Improve price and production forecasting models used to drive automated trading decisions
  • Analyse market microstructure and balancing mechanisms to identify new sources of value
  • Work directly with the engineering team to ship models into the live trading engine

What we're looking for

  • Degree in a quantitative field (maths, physics, engineering, economics or similar)
  • 2+ years working with time-series data, forecasting or quantitative trading
  • Strong Python skills; comfortable working with large datasets
  • Understanding of European electricity markets is a strong plus

Nice to have

  • · Experience with day-ahead or intraday power trading
  • · Familiarity with weather or production forecasting
